WorldWater Corp. announces new orders for solar water pumping systems

WorldWater Corp. has announced new orders for its proprietary solar powered AquaMax™ water pumping systems in California and New Jersey.

PENNINGTON, N.J., Dec. 23, 2002 -- WorldWater Corp. has announced new orders for its proprietary solar powered AquaMax™ water pumping systems in California and New Jersey.

Four AquaMax™ systems have been ordered by the Joshua Water Basin District (Joshua Tree, California) to operate two 500 hp and two 300 hp well site pumps. The approximate 600 Kilowatt order is subject to an environmental impact study the District is conducting which is expected to be completed in January.

The Utility District's order also includes a 90-day acceptance clause following completion of each of the four equipment installations. Total sale price is $4,000,000, half of which is to be paid in the form of a rebate from Southern California Edison following completion of the systems. Completion of this project is anticipated by June 2003.

WorldWater also has been engaged by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to conduct a $77,000 solar irrigation study that is expected to take six months.

WorldWater received its first order for a solar powered electrical system in New Jersey from the Flatbrook Farm, Montague, New Jersey. Flatbrook is an organic poultry and livestock farm. Total sale price for the system is $175,000, of which $105,000 is expected to be paid by Jersey Central Power and Light in the form of a rebate. It is expected that this project will be completed in January 2003.

The previously reported project for the Locke Ranch in Firebaugh, California, consisting of a 50 horsepower irrigation pumping system, has been completed and the system is in operation.
