HARLEYSVILLE, PA, Nov. 18, 2004 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- Raymond J. De Hont, chairman and CEO of Met-Pro Corp., announced that the company's Duall Division, in Owosso, Mich., has received an order to provide two Model PT510 multistage scrubber systems to a city in the Eastern United States. The value of these orders is in excess of $675,000. The systems are expected to ship in the summer of 2005.

Each scrubber system is designed to treat 37,500 CFM of odorous process air emitted from a wastewater treatment plant. The multistage systems, which will utilize eight Fybroc Division Series 5530 vertical dry pit fiberglass pumps to recycle a caustic and oxidant scrubbing solution, will effectively eliminate odorous gases containing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans. The Duall PT510 systems will also include centrifugal exhaust fans to draw the odorous air through the scrubbers.

"This order demonstrates Duall's continuing strong presence in the municipal odor control market and is another example of Met-Pro's ongoing efforts to maximize the synergies between its Divisions and Subsidiaries," said De Hont. "It reinforces Duall's reputation as a leader in this field and gives us continued optimism for more orders of this type at Duall."
