April 3, 2007 -- A prestigious Scottish Water framework agreement has been awarded on a dual supply basis to AUMA, manufacturer of modular electric actuators. Following a detailed review, AUMA products were selected as part of the actuation solution for the publicly owned utility which provides water to 2.2 million households.

As a result of the three year agreement, which has a potential one year extension, Scottish Water will use all products in AUMA's range including multi-turn/part-turn actuators plus bevel, spur and worm gearboxes.

Key reasons cited by AUMA for achieving the framework are the ability to supply modular actuation technology and the strength of the company's dedicated local support provided to the Scottish market.

AUMA's growing customer base in Scotland includes water and power sector applications.

AUMA UK forms part of the global AUMA organization.
