Euro Tech subsidiary awarded process water, wastewater contracts in China

HONG KONG, Oct. 22, 2007 -- Euro Tech Holdings Company Limited today announced that its subsidiary, Yixing PACT Environmental Technology Company Ltd., has recently been awarded contracts worth about US$ 2.4 million by a USA Aluminum company based in Qinhuangdao, China. These contracts which cover design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of a (34 m³/hr.) industrial process water plant and a (45 m³/hr.) wastewater treatment plant will be completed before mid 2008.

The USA aluminum company, a world's leading producer of primary, fabricated aluminum and alumina, has many wholly owned and joint venture operating companies in China. The plant in Qinhuangdao is just one of their joint venture companies.

PACT, based in Shanghai, is a global provider of environmental solutions for industrial and municipal clients, focusing on water and wastewater treatment. Pact's capabilities cover design, manufacturing, sourcing, installation and servicing of water/wastewater treatment, water desalination plants and equipment.
