Advanced Utility Systems has successfully brought Eagle River Water & Sanitation District (ERWSD) live on its flagship customer information and billing solution CIS Infinity. The successful launch can be attributed to the Advanced training strategy as well as ERWSD's well organized core team.

User acceptance is vital for the successful completion of an implementation of CIS Infinity. One of the most important contributors to user acceptance is a good training course. As such, Advanced provided a customized training plan to ERWSD that included training to small groups of users based on their job requirements and extensive individual on the job training.

Advanced also dedicated a trainer to the project who ensured every users' questions were answered and addressed every support item that was logged. The Advanced trainer worked closely with the users to bring them to the point where they felt confident in using CIS Infinity so that they could perform their daily tasks efficiently and effectively. Steven Hammond, General Manager for Advanced notes, "Advanced's commitment to training means that our trainer did not leave ERWSD until their core team had all the skills they needed to do their jobs."

The ERWSD core team lead by a highly organized project manager came prepared to each training session to learn. The users also put in the necessary testing time which was crucial for the hard parallel and go-live phases of the implementation.

CIS Infinity offers several benefits of particular interest to the ERWSD including the ability to view images of checks from the transaction history tab. This provides ERWSD with another place to store financial information and history for its customer base.

ERWSD provides water and sewer service to approximately 10,000 customers. They are the fifth client located in the state of Colorado for Advanced and are an active member of the CIS Infinity users' group established there.
