May 11, 2009 -- Leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy Faber Maunsell Ltd has changed its name to AECOM Ltd (known as AECOM), completing its full integration into the global AECOM group.
For over 80 years the names Oscar Faber and Maunsell have been synonymous with leading engineering design and innovation, and since joining forces with AECOM in 2002 the company has continued to deliver world-class projects and services. With this name change and concurrent organizational restructuring, we will be even better placed to work with clients and meet the challenges of the rapidly changing global marketplace.
AECOM is a leader in the delivery of Building Engineering, Transportation, Water, Environment, Program Management, Energy and Planning & Design services. As a result of this global integration, we will benefit from the skills and experience of over 43,000 people in over 100 countries across the globe.
Ken Dalton, will remain in his position under the new title of Chief Executive for AECOM Europe. He commented,
