ENGLEWOOD, CO, Oct. 13, 2009 -- IHS Inc., a leading global source of critical information and insight, today announced the availability to pre-order the new 2010 edition of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) -- an internationally recognized code for the latest rules of safety in the design, fabrication, maintenance and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels, power producing machines and associated subsystems, and nuclear power plant components. The Update: No Small Matter

Originally 114 pages long, the Code now spans more than 18,000 pages filling 30 binders.
