PASADENA, CA, Oct. 5, 2009 -- Parsons is pleased to announce that Robert P. Vilker has joined the company as Vice President and Program Manager for its Water & Infrastructure group. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the pursuit and delivery of large water and wastewater programs worldwide.

Mr. Vilker has more than 25 years of experience in project delivery, including program management, planning, design, construction, training, and startup activities as well as acting as the owner, consultant, and contractor. He also has extensive experience in wastewater planning, conceptual design, stakeholder group involvement, and permit negotiations. Prior to joining Parsons, Mr. Vilker served as a partner with a company that specializes in providing planning, design, and construction management services for municipal customers.

Mr. Vilker holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in civil/environmental engineering from the University of Washington. He will be based in San Diego, California.
