BATON ROUGE, LA, Nov. 30, 2010 -- Second Louisiana Resource LLC (SLR), a subsidiary of Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC (RES) of Baton Rouge, LA, has been selected to supply wetland mitigation credits in the US Army Corps' of Engineers Vicksburg District along the northern Louisiana segment of the 270-mile Acadian Gas Pipeline System natural gas pipeline. The project is an expansion of the Acadian Gas intrastate natural gas pipeline system; Acadian Gas LLC is 66% owned by Duncan Energy and 34% owned by Enterprise Products Partners LP (NYSE:EPD).

Operators and producers of the Haynesville Shale in northwestern Louisiana will benefit from access to this new pipeline extension on the Acadian system through interconnects with 12 interstate pipelines and industrial and municipal customer markets across the eastern US. The pipeline extension project is expected to be completed in third quarter 2011. Elliott Bouillion, President and CEO of RES said, "RES is uniquely qualified to deliver high quality wetland mitigation solutions to clients both developing the Haynesville Shale and transporting natural gas to client markets. During this 2010 calendar year, RES has emerged as the largest supplier of wetland and stream mitigation solutions for oil and gas companies and field infrastructure providers in the Haynesville Shale unconventional gas play."

Restoring lands to their natural state as wetlands is a fundamental benefit provided by RES' mitigation activities. Additional ecological benefits include reforested wetlands that enhance retention of storm water and minimize erosion and sedimentation of neighboring waters. Restoration of native forests also eliminates applications of fertilizers to the land and reduces nitrogen and phosphorus runoff to the surrounding ecosystem. RES has successfully implemented multi-phase ecosystem restoration projects throughout the Gulf Coast region.
