ATLANTA, GA, Feb. 1, 2011 -- Landis+Gyr, a global leader in energy management and advanced metering technology, and Mueller Systems, a leader in advanced metering solutions for water systems, have announced an agreement to deliver multi-service advanced metering systems to combination utilities. Mueller Systems is a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products Inc. (NYSE:MWA), a leading North American provider of water infrastructure products and services.

The new agreement leverages Landis+Gyr's energy management systems and expertise with Mueller Systems' innovative water management technologies to address the challenges faced by utilities that manage both water and electric services.
