May 27, 2011 -- Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing's facility in Huangyong, China, is using ultrafiltration technology from inge watertechnologies to treat 65,000 m³/day of raw water from the Zhujiang River for use as boiler feed water for steam generation.

The ultrafiltration system at the Huangyong paper factory comprises 800 dizzer®XL 0.9 MB 60W modules installed in 10 'T-Rack vario' racks.

Water from the Zhujiang is heavily contaminated. But the tiny pores in inge's patented Multibore membranes are capable of filtering out suspended solids, microorganisms, and even viruses.

inge watertechnologies said it's seen steadily increasing demand for its ultrafiltration technology. Bruno Steis, the company's CEO, said, "China is becoming one of the key markets for our products. Our technology is being deployed in an increasing number of large-scale projects, ranging from airports and factories to nuclear power plants and municipal wastewater treatment facilities."
