NanoH2O appoints new chief operating officer

EL SEGUNDO, CA., Nov. 5, 2012 -- NanoH2O, Inc., manufacturer of the most efficient and cost effective reverse osmosis membranes for seawater desalination, today announced that global operations veteran, Doug Barnes, has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining NanoH2O, Mr. Barnes spent 25 years in high volume manufacturing with Planar, a leader in digital display technology. He served in various positions including Vice President of Global Operations and as General Manager, during which he was responsible for establishing commercial and manufacturing operations in Europe and Asia.
