Jan. 21, 2013 -- Niagara Blower, one of Buffalo’s oldest companies, announced that it has acquired the vacant building and adjacent property at 91 Sawyer Avenue, Tonawanda. The 100,000 square foot manufacturing and office facility will become the new world headquarters for Niagara and also Kathabar Dehumidification Systems, one of its subsidiary companies.

Niagara President, Peter Demakos stated, “In conjunction with our existing plant a few miles away, the addition of this facility will enable us to meet the increased demand for our systems solutions especially in rapidly growing market segments including natural gas processing and refining, as well as support the growth plan. Our goal is to aggressively hire additional engineers, technical and skilled personnel over the next three to five years.”

Niagara systems are the preferred technology because they allow for improved production while reducing operating costs and conserving water resources.
