National Association of Water Companies announces new board of directors

On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the National Association of Water Companies announced its new board of directors.

WASHINGTON, DC, Oct. 14, 2013 -- On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) announced its new board of directors.

Dennis Doll, chairman, president and CEO of Middlesex Water Company, has been named president of the NAWC board of directors and its executive committee. Doll replaces Robert Sprowls, president and CEO of American States Water Company.

"We are proud to welcome Dennis Doll as the incoming NAWC president as well as our new board members. We would also like to thank Bob for his leadership and all who serve on the board for their service and contributions," said Michael Deane, executive director of NAWC. "We are very fortunate to have an engaged board as we continue our efforts to shape the future of water management."

Doll has served as president, chief executive officer and a director of Middlesex Water Company since 2006 and serves as chairman of all subsidiary companies. Doll joined Middlesex Water as executive vice president in November 2004. He has more than 25 years of experience in both regulated and non-regulated water utility management. In addition to his work with NAWC, he serves as a director for the New Jersey Utilities Association, the Water Research Foundation and Raritan Bay Medical Center and has various board committee leadership roles in these organizations.
