CARY, NC, Nov. 14, 2013 -- The Edison Wastewater Treatment Facility in Edison, Ga., is set to receive a sizable upgrade with the installment of a new moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) system.
Through a contract awarded to Kruger Inc., a Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies company, the company's first AnoxKaldnes™ MBBR LagoonGuard™system in the state of Georgia will furnish the existing plant with the construction of a new secondary treatment train.
This system is designed to treat an average daily flow of 250,000 GPD and will achieve effluent ammonia limits ≤ 5 mg/L. The customer and engineer selected Kruger's AnoxKaldnes MBBR LagoonGuard system based on proven experience, technical expertise, extensive installation base, customer support, innovative design, and competitive equipment pricing.
