Relocation announced for Thompson Pump plant in city of Baltimore

Thompson Pump and Manufacturing announced its relocation of its Baltimore-Washington branch in Jessup, MD, to a larger plant within the city.


PORT ORANGE, FL, Nov. 26, 2013 -- Dewatering and construction pump provider Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Company, Inc. recently announced the relocation of its Baltimore-Washington Branch in Jessup, Md., to a larger facility within the city.

The new branch location is situated on 4.6 acres easily accessible from the Baltimore Beltway and features sufficient office space for the growing Thompson Pump staff and ample space for storing and servicing pumps, parts and pumping accessories. The new location will better accommodate the company's growing customer needs for rentals, sales, parts and service in the Northeast including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and portions of New York and New Jersey.

The Baltimore-Washington Branch, one of 21 Thompson Pump branches nationwide, operates under the direction of Branch Manager Tucker LaMontagne. The branch provides a full line of the company's products for sale and rental, as well as solutions for dewatering, bypass and special pumping applications.
