ALEXANDRIA, VA, Aug. 3, 2015 -- The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has officially announced the winners of the 2015 StormTV Project competition.

Launched in 2012, the project recognizes, highlights and promotes the invaluable work of stormwater professionals worldwide through videos that are submitted from nonprofit organizations, government entities, consulting firms, and equipment manufacturers.

WEF received nearly 150 entries -- including more international submissions than in previous years -- that were reviewed by more than 35 expert judges representing the stormwater sector. The following winning entries were selected based on message communication and quality as well as content matter and relevance:

The winners will be celebrated with a video screening and awards ceremony in the Stormwater Pavilion Theater during the 2015 Stormwater Congress at WEF's Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), taking place Sept. 26-30 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. The StormTV Project sessions will be held Sept. 28-29 at 2:30 pm.

Through the success of the competition, WEF has also built an expansive StormTV Project library (here) that features more than 366 videos highlighting the sector's most inventive stormwater programs, practices, products, and public outreach efforts. The 2015 submissions are also available for viewing on the StormTV Project Map (here) and the StormTV Project Map: Public Education (here).
