NEWBURY, OHIO, MARCH 9, 2017 -- Kinetico Incorporated, a global leader in the water treatment industry, announces its expanded partnership with Drink Local, Drink Tap, the non-profit organization that inspires people to care about water everywhere. Sharing a passion for changing lives through clean water, Kinetico's relationship with DLDT began in 2010 with a sponsorship and representation on DLDT's board of directors and has grown to where DLDT is a strong water advocacy partner and the charity of choice for many independent Kinetico dealerships across America.

Furthering its commitment to DLDT, Kinetico has pledged to match funds raised or donated nationally by its independent dealers in the United States to support building DLDT's water projects in the villages of Uganda. The hope is to alleviate the need for people to walk miles a day to collect water that makes them sick and also positively impact the world's water crisis. At a minimum, Kinetico expects to bring safe water to 10,000 more people by 2020.

Kinetico has been designing and manufacturing premium water treatment products for residential and commercial applications for more than 45 years. Taking a progressive approach to solving water problems, Kinetico leads the water treatment industry in the development of groundbreaking, sustainable solutions. More than one million Kinetico systems are in use in more than 100 countries worldwide. The company currently has six offices in North America and Europe, and continues to grow and expand into new channels and markets. Residential products in North America are primarily sold through authorized, independent dealers.

Not only will Kinetico encourage and support its U.S. dealers in the funding of DLDT's clean water projects, it will urge Kinetico dealers nationwide to follow DLDT's mission of acting locally to improve water quality. Since everything eventually makes its way into our water supplies, beach and park cleanups impact local water quality. According to Toby Thomas, Kinetico President and CEO, "Kinetico corporate employees have embraced sustainability in the office and manufacturing plant as part of their daily job responsibilities. We strive to emulate DLDT's model and are honored to be able to strengthen our ties with them." Additionally, dealers will be able to provide screenings of DLDT's "Making Waves" documentary in schools to educate children about the world's water crisis.

About Kinetico Founded in 1970, Kinetico is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of water treatment systems for the residential, commercial and OEM markets. Recognized for its reliable, economical and sustainable approach to water treatment, Kinetico products are used and recommended by millions of people all over the world.
