ATLANTA, GA – June 14, 2017 – Smart metering company Mueller Systems has teamed up with Senet, aprovider of wide-area networks (LPWANS) for long-range Internet of Things (IoT) applications to deliveradvanced metering infrastructure to water utilities across North America.
Mueller Systems will use Senet’s open standards-based, public low power wide area network (LoRaWAN) to bring its LoRa®- enabled metering solutions to market and to deliver IoT solutions and coverage to its customers throughout North America.
The aim behind the collaboration is to bring to market a highly scalable network of wireless IoT sensors for water metering and management applications designed to boost utility provider efficiencies.
Both Mueller Systems and Senet are members of The LoRa Alliance, an open, non-profit association of members that believes the IoT era is now.
