BWA recently introduced its new chemical inhibitor modeling software, BWA WaterCycle. The software was jointly developed with French Creek Software, the creator of WaterCycle, a leading scale and corrosion modeling software for the water treatment industry. The new version of the software will allow BWA customers to develop scale control packages for their cooling and process water systems. The company has also launched a new set of antiscalants specifically designed for environmentally conscious customers.

ORP sensors
The S10 and S17 ORP Sensors from Electro-Chemical Devices (ECD) feature a no-glass design with platinum or gold sensor tips to operate safely in a wide range of applications. The sensors come with replaceable ORP cartridges that plug into a rugged 316 stainless steel body, which incorporates the sensing element, a temperature module and a signal conditioner with cabling. Submersible transmitter
American Sensor Technologies offers the AST4520 flush diaphragm submersible transmitter for level monitoring of turbulent tanks. Ball valves
Conval recently announced that its Camseal© ball valves now have forged bodies. These new forged ball valves are available in ½" through 4" sizes with top entry, socket weld, butt weld, and flanged ends. Pressure classes range from ASME 900 through 4500. Level transmitter
Endress+Hauser announces the Levelflex FMP55 multiparameter level transmitter that can measure both the overall level of a liquid and the interface between two liquids. The FMP55 is the first transmitter to use two level technologies built into one probe. The transmitter will automatically switch between the technologies in order to provide a concise and reliable interface measurement, even in the presence of emulsion or rag layers. Capacitance is not affected by emulsion or rag layers in interface applications, and radar allows the transmitter to monitor the overall level as well as the interface level.
