The Amiad SAF is a series of automatic filters with an electric-driven self-cleaning mechanism that requires minimum flow and pressure for flushing. The SAF is designed to work with various screen types and filtration degrees from 10 to 800 micron. It is available in inlet/outlet diameters of 2"-10". Using the company’s proprietary four-layer, “floating” screen technology, the screens offer a larger effective filtration area which improves their ability to trap and sustain suspended solids, resulting in cleaner water.

Stormwater filter

The ClearWater BMP stormwater filter is not just a trash basket. The patent-pending, stainless steel filter train design allows stormwater flows to be screened, triple settled, and then filtered, all within the confines of an existing concrete curb inlet drain box. This filtration design significantly reduces concentrations of trash, sediment, hydrocarbons, metals, and nutrients. Testing from San Diego State University established that the unit will remove 97% of TSS, 86% of hydrocarbons, 83% of zinc, and 81% of lead. Specifically designed for retrofitting within the existing curb and gutter infrastructure, it handles heavy storm flows, is non-scouring and uses mosquito-free technology.

Eaton’s new AFR Series Tubular Backwash Filter System is designed for continuous, high flow filtration (single system flow rates up to 2000 gpm) with flexibility to meet current and future system capacity requirements. The system is designed to replace a much larger eight station tubular multiplex system in a compact, one square meter footprint. A single, rotating flow diverter replaces multiple valves, actuators, linkages, and seals required by other systems - minimizing the number of moving parts. The AFR uses cleanable media in a wide selection of filter media materials and retention rates. Isolated top-to-bottom backwash flow provides operator-free service and ensures complete and efficient media cleaning.

Stormwater filtration

EnviroStream™ Stormwater Treatment Systems offers an efficient and compact system that can be installed in almost any new or preexisting catch basin to filter the stormwater as it enters the sewer. The full unit consists of a two-stage catch basin collection process: first, a large debris basket collects litter and leaves; then, a fine filtration assembly captures salt, oil and grease. Because these finer pollutants permanently attach to the filtration medium, they cannot leach back into stormwater channels. The system filters up to 98% of inorganic solids, virtually eliminating trash and hydrocarbons and can be customized to meet site specific requirements.

Stormwater filtration

The new Linear Grate StormFilter is a multi-chamber catch basin unit that is uniquely suited for small treatment drainage areas. The system receives sheet flow runoff through surface grating. The units have an H-20 rated, traffic-bearing lid that allows the filter to be installed in parking lots and take up no land area. The system consists of an inlet bay and cartridge chamber(s). Runoff enters the inlet bay by sheet flow from a paved surface or from an inlet pipe discharging directly to the unit.
