The newly developed glass-fiber-reinforced-plastic lug housing features high stability, low weight and good corrosion and UV resistance. Compared to metal valves of the same dimension, the type-578 valves save up to 50-percent weight due to its housing. The new Anaconda UV Curing System from Aries Industries provides fast, consistent pipe lining installation with CCTV video inspection before and during the cure. The rehabilitation method uses a "light train" that emits UV light as it's pulled through the flexible, resin-impregnated liner. The light cures and hardens the liner, forming a new tight-fitting, joint-free pipe. A computer controls the speed, temperature and pressure in the inflated liner, all of which are carefully monitored during the cure.
