A collaboration between water treatment companies Water Planet and Applied Membranes has resulted in a project win with the Kuwait Oil Company.

The first project will use a multi-stage reverse osmosis (RO)-based integrated membrane system to purify brackish groundwater for use in oil production and steam generation.

Dr. Gil Dhawan, founder and CEO of Applied Membranes said the companies “complement each other.”
