In 2Q 2012, the company proudly announces the launch of a new cartridge which is developed from vast experience in plastic engineering and under the most stringent German standards.

Utilizing automotive development tools such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the simulation of the mechanical (fracture) behavior using the finite element Method (FEM), the Klar, K1060 cartridge series was successfully developed by MANN+HUMMEL Research & Development.

The design of K1060 offers many improvements and distinct advantages which includes better product yield and reduction in pressure loss.

From Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) to modified PolyEtherSulfone (PES), these membranes are developed into new cartridges made from reliable materials and are designed to perform.

With improvements in hydrophilic properties brings about better fouling resistance and this has tremendous influence in the operating pressure and cost.

Chemical and cleaning process are greatly reduced in the process when the membranes have better resistance against fouling.

Both PAN and PES materials are highly suitable for various industries and water quality. A wide range of applications ranging from surface water clarification to recycling of industrial wastewater stream are possible. Coupled with extensive experiences in the field of water and wastewater treatment, the K1060 cartridges are able to deliver performance at very competitive pricing.
