(ADS) announced today it has acquired Piedmont Concrete (Pineville, NC), a manufacturer of pre-cast sanitary and stormwater structures. This latest acquisition follows the April 2010 purchase of the Foltz Concrete Pipe Company of Winston-Salem, NC. Piedmont Concrete, founded in 2006, provides pre-cast concrete structures to underground utility contractors in both the public and private markets from its plant near Charlotte, NC.
