HOUSTON, TX, Jan. 27, 2011 -- TexCom Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TEXC) today announced that the commissioners of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) voted yesterday to grant the company's Houston-based TexCom Gulf Disposal, LLC subsidiary its permit to drill and operate up to four Class I nonhazardous industrial wastewater injection wells in Montgomery County, Texas.

The first injection well has already been completed and is expected to be put into service later this year after the company constructs surface facilities for receiving and processing wastewater. The injection limit for the facility per the terms of the permit will be 12,000 barrels per day. The additional wells may be drilled in the future if required to reach that capacity limit. The expected useful life of the wells is estimated to be more than 30 years.

Nonhazardous industrial wastewater is generated from process operations by the refining and chemical industries as well as by a variety of retail businesses.
