MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, March 28, 2013-- Survalent Technology, a provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Village of Winnetka, Ill.
The Village of Winnetka Electric System has had a Survalent system for several years. The new system is designed for the City's water department.
The new system features Survalent's highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, SCADA Explorer, Command Sequence, Event Data Recording, External Clock Interface, Remote Alarm Annunciation, SCADA Add-In, and Master/Slave Alarm Suppression.
