The DDS Series differential pressure switch released by Ashcroft is made to sense low differential pressures between high pressure sources.
May 31, 2013 -- The new DDS Series differential pressure switch released by Ashcroft is designed to sense low differential pressures between high pressure sources. Many times, measuring a low differential pressure across a restriction in a high pressure line requires both a sensitive elastic element and a heavily-constructed containment vessel. The DDS switch combines both attributes, enabling it to control differential pressures from 0/6 to 0/150 Inches of Water on pressure lines up to 1500 psi. UL Listed NEMA 4 water-tight and NEMA 7 explosion-proof versions are available with a choice of electrical switches, wetted materials and setpoint options. Encased in a cast-aluminum housing, DDS pressure switches employ a near frictionless switching mechanism for superior repeatability.
