ATLANTA, GA, Oct. 25, 2013 -- Australia and New Zealand will start to see a significant increase in concrete products from ConShield Technologies, Inc., through the appointment of their distributor, ITW Construction Systems, a supplier of specialty concrete products used in the construction industry.

Agreements were signed during a brief ceremony held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at ITW's Australian headquarters in Melbourne, Australia. Spearheading the program for this operation is Claus Rotstein, ITW business development manager, who has successfully adopted many other technologies for the company.

"ConShield® fills a unique need for our existing customers in the pre-cast manhole and pipe production market," notes Rotstein. "We are excited about the benefits it adds to concrete in areas needing protection from Microbiologically-Induced Corrosion (MIC)."

William Shook, ConShield Technologies president, also commented, "We are pleased to partner with ITW Construction Systems to advance the use of ConShield in this market. ITW-Australia has demonstrated the level of technical expertise and commitment that we require of our international distributors. We are pleased that cities and precast producers globally see the benefits of its (ConShield's) long term protection and cost-effectiveness."

Moosa Damarchie, ConShield Technologies international managing director, has an aggressive program underway for its international distribution network to make ConShield and Crystal-X® readily available and affordable worldwide.
