BOULDER, CO, Dec. 18, 2013 -- A newly-formed software-as-a-solution company aims to help motivate conservation of water and energy through consumer behavior modification.

Named Incent Software, the business was formed by national water conservation expert Peter Mayer and web developer Steve Whitesell to provide custom applications that effectively communicate water and energy use, conservation and billing information to residential and non-residential consumers.

Engaging consumers via printed reports or on a home computer, tablet, or smartphone, Incent Software features clear and concise reporting, intelligently developed graphics, and responsive dashboards and portals. Further, the company is designed to work with advanced metering infrastructure-capable utilities and leverages monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, and even more up-to-date meter data.

The software reports on everything from usage patterns to program participation and allows utilities to customize messaging for their consumer base. It also features administrative functions like contact management and tracking; configurable high usage and emergency alerts; and e-billing system integration. In addition to their suite of software, Incent provides toll-free technical support for utilities and consumers.
