SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, Dec. 9, 2013 -- The quality system at a WesTech Engineering office in Ames, Iowa, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Overseeing the General Filter and Microfloc product lines, WesTech's Iowa facility had to meet the latest international ISO requirements for a quality management system in order to achieve the certification. As such, the company consistently provided products that met customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The ISO 9001 certification is a process that documents and verifies that a facility consistently operates at a world-class quality level. WesTech's Salt Lake City headquarters have been certified since 1994 and placed priority on gaining ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Iowa operation upon acquiring the General Filter and Microfloc product lines from Siemens in September, 2012.
