The city of St. Cloud, FL, completed an implementation of its new customer information and billing solution, CIS Infinity by Advanced Utility Systems.

ST. CLOUD, FL, AND TORONTO, ON, Feb. 1, 2014 -- The city of St. Cloud, Fla., recently completed a successful implementation of its new customer information and billing solution at the end of last November, delivering service to 20,000 water, sewer, reclaimed water, solid waste, and stormwater customers.

Provided by Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced), CIS Infinity provided St. Coud wth advanced reporting capabilities, given that the city's legacy system was limited and cumbersome for reporting. Now, any user can build unique reports quickly to identify and resolve areas of concern such as revenue loss.

St. Cloud also implemented Infinity.Link, the Advanced online bill payment and self-service solution as well as Infinity.CreditCheck, the integration of CIS Infinity with ONLINE Information Services, Inc.'s premier bad-debt elimination tool, the ONLINE Utility Exchange.

The city of St. Cloud was incorporated on January 3, 1911, and its boundaries have expanded dramatically ever since. The size of the city is now controlled by voluntary annexation based on the supply of sewer and water services to the expanding urban area. Growth has been demand-based, and city services have been extended to meet the needs of new residents as well as providing economies of scale for the operation of city utilities and services.
