CA water district to improve operations with lab information management systems

Accelerated Technology Laboratories has officially announced that the Coachella Valley Water District of California will begin implementing ATL's Sample Master Pro Laboratory Information Management System.

WEST END, NC, Oct. 20, 2014 -- Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a supplier of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), has officially announced that the Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) of California will begin implementing ATL's Sample Master® Pro Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Sample Master Pro LIMS will be used as part of an ongoing program to improve the quality and efficiency of CVWD's operations and to enhance compliance with the California State Water Resources Control Board's Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP).

ELAP provides evaluation and accreditation of environmental testing laboratories to ensure the quality of analytical data used for regulatory purposes to meet the requirements of the state's drinking water, wastewater, shellfish, food, and hazardous waste programs.

Sample Master Pro LIMS will provide a turnkey LIMS software solution designed to produce analytical data and reports of the highest possible quality, provide instrument integration and support field sampling, while future-proofing CVWD's investment for the long-term.

ATL's LIMS will also support interfacing/electronic data transfer with California Department of Public Health Write-On software, EPA's Safe Drinking Water Accession and Review System (SDWARS), and California's Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS) for discharge monitoring.
