Dosatron celebrates 40th anniversary of first water-powered dosing pump

Dosatron announced that it has celebrated its 40th anniversary along with the release of the industry's first water-powered dosing pump.

CLEARWATER, FL, Feb. 6, 2015 -- Dosatron International, a North and Central American provider of water-powered dosing technology, recently announced that it has celebrated its 40th anniversary along with the release of the industry's first water-powered dosing pump.

Dosatron was the first to invent the water-powered dosing pump, manufactured in 1974, which serves as a solution for liquid-to-liquid precision dosing and mixing issues in a variety of municipal and industrial applications.

Installed directly in the water supply line, the company's dosing pump operates without electricity and uses the flow of water as its power source. The water activates the pump, which collects the required percentage of concentrate and injects it into the water.

Dosatron's injectors can be used for everything from water/wastewater treatment and horticulture fertilization to vehicle wash chemical applications and livestock medication, to name a few.
