HUGO, CO, JULY 22, 2016 -- The tap water in a small Colorado town has been contaminated with THC, according to NPR.
The active ingredient in marijuana was found to be present by The Hugo Public Works Department in Hugo, Colo. Residents were being told not to drink, cook with or bathe in the local water supply.
The Denver Post is reporting that the source of the contamination is thought to be the result of tampering with a local water well, and that law enforcement officials are investigating the matter.
