Hydromantis has announced the latest release of its flagship product GPS-X™ Version 6.4. The release includes new data-plotting features, functions for defining variables, a Sankey Diagram generator, and a number of new process models. Unit process models for anaerobic membrane bioreactors, micro-screening solids separation and high-rate treatment have been developed to further expand the largest collection of unit processes in GPS-X. Responding to user requests to model energy consumption more accurately, new state-of-the-art dynamic pump energy models for fixed- and variable-speed pumps have been developed using pump and system characteristics curves. GPS-X, introduced in 1992, was the first commercially available wastewater simulation technology.
