Stormwater detention

Cathodic protection

Conical bottom tanks

Pre-cast wet well
Romtec Utilities has introduced a 10-foot-diameter pre-cast concrete wet well, expanding the capacity of its complete lift station systems. The new wet wells offer greater capacity and accommodate both duplex and triplex pump systems for maximum design flexibility. The new size also makes it easier to locate a well in places where deep excavation is impractical, since it can offer the same capacity as a deeper 8-foot-diameter well, but in a shallower design.

Thermoplastic tanks
A specially engineered thermoplastic tank designed for storage and transfer of corrosive fluids is now available for outdoor service. Bulkhead fittings
Hayward Flow Control Systems has announced availability of a new line of BFA Series Industrial Bulkhead Fittings. Designed to allow safe, quick pipe connections to plastic or metal tanks, the bulkhead fittings come standard with heavy duty, full buttress left hand threads to prevent leaks under pressure. The fittings are molded 1" longer than previous versions for use with thicker or double wall tanks and with a heavy wall thickness to withstand most abuse. They are rated to 150 psi, have EPDM or FPM gasket seals, and feature a hex body for one person installation.

Brass relief valves
