New brochure

Red Valve Company and Tideflex Technologies have announced the availability of a new CheckMate® Inline Check Valve brochure, which highlights the benefits and features of the CheckMate Valve and its many versatile applications. Within the brochure is a clear and concise graphic representation of exactly why the CheckMate is ideal for backflow prevention. A QR code for smartphone users has also been added, which will direct readers to an animated video of the CheckMate Valve in operation.

Redesigned website

CULTEC Inc. has launched a redesigned website. The new website, (www.cultec.com), provides a company history as well as detailed information, downloads and images for the company’s lines of stormwater management and septic products. CULTEC’s new website features a sleeker, brighter and more modern appearance as well as a wider screen format to better display project and product images on the homepage. Through a row of tabs, users can easily navigate the site and access informational downloads, customer support information and product details.

New app

Sherwin-Williams has launched the Water & Wastewater App, designed to provide users with protective coating recommendations for the following water and wastewater operations: conventional water treatment, membrane water/wastewater treatment, water storage, water conveyance, sewer collection, and wastewater treatment. The app was developed to help engineers access accurate and up‐to‐date coatings information via mobile technology. If a new product is introduced, or if an old product is no longer manufactured, the app displays the updated information.

The sleek, modern design now provides YSI customers with easy-to-read and -find products, solutions and customer support on any size device. The YSI.com website has been a high-priority project for nearly two years, managed by an internal development team working closely with outside consultants. Updated guide

The International Society of Automation (ISA) has announced that the newly released fourth edition of its “Good Tuning: A Pocket Guide” by Gregory K. McMillan has been updated to deliver more precise and optimal tuning for a vareity of applications. Instrument, process control and process engineers will appreciate the guide’s concise summaries, step-by-step descriptions of field-proven tuning procedures, table of typical tuning settings, overview of common valve performance problems, logic diagrams for trouble-shooting, and other useful features.

The American Water Works Association has announced the release of its new “AWWA Thought Leader Series,” a series of videos focusing on industry lessons learned from six well-known professionals in the drinking water and wastewater fields. This three-part series covers the topics of Source and Treatment, Wastewater and Distribution in eight videos. It is ideal for training purposes for employees to learn from the expertise of top industry leaders as various water and wastewater problems are presented and solved. All the videos are available in AWWA’s online store.

New website, logo

In-Situ® Inc. has launched a new website and corporate identity. The new website offers a clean, modern design, easy-to-navigate functionality and streamlined content. Further, the new corporate identity includes a modern take on the original logo. The clover represents a well field for in-situ mining, and the flow of groundwater is represented by the heart-shaped “clover leaf” pattern. The yellow represents the yellow cake from the uranium extraction, and the blue outer ring depicts the movement of water droplets.
