K-TEK's AccuTrak AT100 and AT200 magnetostrictive liquid level transmitters have been certified for operation in SIL 2 (Safety Integrity Level 2) environments. The transmitters are the only magnetostrictive transmitters in the industry to be certified to the exacting IEC 61508 safety standard. The AT100 can be directly inserted into the medium to be measured; the AT200 is an externally mounted, non-contact transmitter that can be attached to the K-TEK KM26 magnetic level gauge or other magnetic gauges to form a complete level measuring system.

Rain gauge logger
Telog's RG-32 Rain Gauge Teloger continuously monitors the output of a tipping bucket rain gauge, collecting rainfall data via a user-defined schedule and/or alarm events. Data is transferred automatically over a cellular network to a central host computer. It can operate up to five years on a single, user-replaceable D cell lithium battery. Users can choose one of three wireless communication technologies for compatibility with the local cellular system. Small enough to install on a pole or mountain platform, the RG-32 requires just one connection to the rain gauge to gather and transmit data to the host computer.

Groundwater monitoring
The new CTD-Diver from Schlumberger is a multi-parameter datalogger ideal for monitoring municipal groundwater supplies, saltwater intrusion, and injected wastewater. The logger is designed for corrosive and high salinity conditions. With a new compact housing and ceramic sensor, it can record water levels, temperature, and conductivity (0-120 ms/cm). With an estimated 10 year battery life, the unit has an expanded memory capacity, and provides event-based, pumping test, and averaging sampling methods. Submersible pressure transducer
The YSI Level Scout™ is a submersible logging pressure transducer that measures level and temperature. It can be used in many applications including monitoring water level within a wastewater system in order to examine intake levels and to warn of potential combined sewer over flows. It can also be used to continuously monitor water level in groundwater and surface water supplies which can help users make informed water management decisions. With level accuracy of ± 0.05%, the transducer can record up to 390,000 data points (along with time stamp) at user-selectable rates and/or broadcast data via SDI-12, RS232, or RS485 to a data collection platform.

Flow monitoring technologies

Submersible level transmitter
The Model 375 submersible level transmitter from AMETEK PMT Products is designed specifically for direct submergence in many types of liquids. The solid-state transmitters indicate liquid level by continuously measuring hydrostatic pressure via an isolated sensing element–an ion implanted silicon semiconductor chip with integral Wheatstone Bridge circuit. Mass flow sensor

Submersible pressure transmitters
The Turck PT4510 submersible pressure transmitter was designed for low level applications of up to 400 inches, while the PT4500 is available in ranges up to 100 psig.
