A finalist in the Water & Wastewater category of Bentley’s Going Digital Awards, this project from Geoinfo Service planned and designed a pressurized city water supply scheme for Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The new pressurized water supply will replace a gravity-fed distribution network, providing constant access to clean water and reducing non-revenue water by 35%.

The task of modeling the hundreds of network pipes and nodes presented a challenge, prompting Geoinfo to use advanced hydraulic modeling and digital twin technology through Bentley software.

In this video interview, the Geoinfo Services team describes the project scope, challenges and execution.
