Turbidity monitoring
The Hach FilterTrak 660 sc Laser Nephelometer has the ability to detect a 0.0003 NTU change in turbidity, providing operators of membrane facilities with confidence in their turbidity measurement. The sensor uses USEPA approved Hach FilterTrak Method #10133. This provides treatment plants that have ultra-low turbidity in their filtration effluent with a single technology to monitor, optimize and report. On-site calibration is fast and inexpensive using the company’s StablCal® 0.1 and 0.8 NTU standards.

UF membranes
The new larger-format DOW™ Ultrafiltration SFP-2880 module offers 50 percent more membrane active area while decreasing the required system footprint by 30 percent. The module adds 20 inches of length when compared to the company’s Ultrafiltration SFP-2860, but still features the high strength PVDF hollow fibers with a nominal pore size of 0.03µ. The new module also allows flexibility in system design by reducing the number of modules, required piping, skid infrastructure, and the size of the compressed air and clean in place systems. In addition, the larger modules produce a smaller waste stream for disposal.

Screening systems

Wet D/P transmitter

The new products feature a new permeate tube design that standardizes permeate tube dimensions without the need for special adaptors when replacing competitor elements. RO pumps
Fairbanks Morse has developed an all stainless steel, low-specific-speed turbine pump design geared specifically for the Reverse Osmosis market. The pumps feature heavier shafts and seals. Sieve screen
