The New eSpring Water Purifier, powered by UV-C LED technology from Crystal IS, is the first complete eSpring product re-design in more than 20 years. eSpring is a brand of home water treatment systems.
UV-C LEDs are an advanced, chemical-free way to effectively destroy microorganisms in water, such as bacteria, viruses and cysts. With its unique combination of UV-C LEDs and the eSpring e3 Carbon Filter, the New eSpring Water Purifier effectively destroys bacteria by up to 99.9999%; viruses by up to 99.99%; and cysts by up to 99.9% for home use. In addition, it effectively reduces more than 170 contaminants, including 145 potential health-effect contaminants, micro-plastics, PFOA and PFOS, pharmaceuticals, 1,2,3-TCP, and more.
The use of UV-C LEDs also makes the New eSpring Water Purifier a more sustainable product. UV-C LEDs are designed to last up to 10 years, so no annual UV lamp disposal is needed. The new unit also uses 25% less energy when actively in use compared to the previous model.
