Process pumps
Masterflex B/T Process Pumps, available from Cole-Parmer, have been redesigned to enable bulk transfer of viscous and shear-sensitive fluids. High flow rates make this pump especially useful in municipal treatment plants for influent and effluent control, and drinking water flocculation. With the redesign, the pump head door opens fully to allow access to the tubing. The tube loading indicator marks on B/T PerfectPosition™ tubing ensure exact placement of tubing in the pump to provide optimal repeatability, flow rate, and tubing life. Occlusion is automatic when the door is closed and latched.

Leak detection
Fluid Conservation Systems (FCS) reduces water lost from leaks while saving time, money and labor with the PermaNet wireless network. The network allows immediate responses when leaks are detected, while eliminating the need for municipal water utility maintenance crews to perform site visits and drive-by patrols. The system works with FCS Permalog leak noise loggers; wireless devices that attach magnetically to pipes and "listen" for noises caused by water leakage. Leak reports generated by Permalogs can be sent directly to a customer's PC or mobile phone.

Flow meter
The Model ML04 Water Specialties Propeller Flow Meter™ from McCrometer is available with an optional transmitter that provides a 4-20 mA output, which indicates either flow rate or totalized flow volume in support of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems. It features measurement accuracy of ±2 percent and measures liquid flow from 40 to 35,000 gpm depending on line size. The meter is suitable for service in line sizes from 2" to 48" and is designed for temperatures up to 140°F. The ML04's indicator-totalizer register delivers instantaneous data providing flow rate indication and totalization of flow volume.

Chlorine scales
The Chlor-Scale® from Force Flow allows users to accurately monitor how much chlorine or sulfur dioxide is feeding from ton containers. The system also shows exactly how much chemical remains, helping users prevent the costly mistake of returning partially full containers to a chemical supplier. The scale features a robotically welded box beam frame construction. It displays its weight information on either the Century hydraulic dial indicator, the advanced Wizard 4000 or the economical SOLO G2 digital indicator. All indicators have the ability to send the information on to a PLC or SCADA system for remote monitoring.

BOD probe
YSI has launched a new optical dissolved oxygen BOD probe. The ProOBOD works with the ProODO handheld instrument to make it a true lab/field DO instrument. Optical technology allows users to reduce or eliminate membrane changes, calibrations, warm-up times, and interferences. The probe is tapered to fit into a standard 300 mL BOD bottle in the lab (an international version is also available). The self-stirring BOD probe insures a representative sample. The probe comes with a 3-meter cable attached, power supply, and an optical sensor cap.

Water meters
Great Plains Industries recently introduced two additional products to its TM Series turbine meter family. The two new models in 3" and 4" sizes will handle flow rates up to 800 gpm. The new offerings are specifically designed for high flow monitoring applications in the water and wastewater markets including skid systems, irrigation and sub-metering. Grinder pumps

Butterfly valves
Bray Controls has designed a line of 22"– 120" resilient seated butterfly valves specifically for highly abrasive and corrosive applications. These valves meet process requirements with chloride content from low to very high parts per million in applications such as seawater and sanitary service. Bacteria blend
