Duration: Approximately one hour.

Wastewater and water utilities and municipal governments are regularly tasked with new energy and operational mandates.  In addition, they must manage and adapt to the many environmental compliance issues, rate increase challenges and aging infrastructures that are involved in managing the utility business.  How do utility management and operations teams plan for and execute the many priorities while focusing on compliance and reduced budgets?

Ms. Albertson and Mr. Bell will discuss how to analyze a water or wastewater plant and distribution system for energy and operational efficiencies, and then invest the savings created back into the systems.   This presentation hosted by Schneider Electric, the presenters will discuss the best opportunities for energy and process related savings, the process for delivering these savings and the long-term cost, operational, and environmental benefits of these investments.  They will provide new ideas for funding much of these improvements with existing budgets and gaining access to grants and capital.
