Human Centric Lighting Design

Feb. 25, 2016

Human Centric Lighting (HCL) is becoming a key element of facility lighting design and retrofits thanks to its ability to improve employee performance while reducing facility energy spend. Are you using HCL at your facility? Should you?

Join Stan Walerczyk to explore Human Centric Lighting (HCL), its real-world applications and technologies, and how you can implement HCL at your facility to improve productivity AND reduce your energy spend.

This webinar is scheduled live on Thursday, March 17 @ 11 a.m. PDT / 2 p.m. EDT, 1-1.5hr.* Register for the event by clicking the button below.

In this webinar we’ll take a closer look at Human Centric Lighting (HCL), its use in facility lighting design and retrofits, and its performance benefits and cost savings. Within this discussion, Walerczyk will outline the elements and considerations in designing Human Centric Lighting (visual and non-visual), its application types (e.g., daylight, specific-fixed Kelvin lighting, tunable LED lighting, etc.), and available technologies (e.g., dimming, Kelvin changing, etc.). We’ll take a look at the soft and hard advantages and data, and compare these to traditional lighting upgrades. Additionally, we’ll take a tour of two real-world installations, their results, and the best practices learned. And finally, Walerczyk will walk you through how to select and implement the best HCL technologies and products at your facility to maximize your performance results and energy/cost savings.

This class will help you understand Human Centric Lighting; educate clients; choose products; specify mock-ups and projects; manage installation, commissioning, and evaluations; and write case studies.
