The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA), in conjunction with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), will host its annual conference and exhibition in Phoenix, Ariz., March 16–20. The Membrane Technology Conference and Exhibition (MTC), held at the Phoenix Convention Center, will feature three full days where attendees can network with colleagues and hear the latest updates on membrane use, applications, innovation, and research.
The event program will feature technical podium and poster sessions, pre-conference workshops, facility tours, networking, and an exhibit hall showcasing the latest filtration technologies from across the globe. Participants in the conference will learn about how the latest developments in technology can enhance water reliability and quality through membrane filtration, reuse, desalting, reverse osmosis (RO)/nanofiltration (NF)/microfiltration (MF)/ultrafiltration (UF), and MBR for water treatment.
Topics at this year’s show include membrane development, research, and innovation, RO/NF/MF/UF, plant operation, maintenance, and management, reuse, project planning and design, membrane filtration applications, planning and operations, concentrate management, seawater desalination and more. The technical program will mimic these topics, with dynamic speakers and guests to learn from.
An exhibit hall with more than 40 companies showcasing the latest filtration innovations and technology solutions will be open Tuesday-Thursday. Here, attendees can talk to the vendors making waves in the industry and learn how new technology will improve membrane treatment in the years to come.
Facility tours (available at an additional cost) will be held on the last day of the event, giving attendees an opportunity to view treatment operations up close. Tour options include: the City of Goodyear RO Plant, Scottsdale Water Campus Advanced Water Treatment Plant (UF and RO), or the Ak-Chin Indian Community’s Surface Water facility.
