HORSHAM, PA, Nov. 11, 2015 -- The City Council of Beeville, Texas, recently selected Severn Trent - North America, a supplier of water and wastewater solutions, to provide operation, maintenance and management for its Morrill water treatment plant and the Clareville pump station through a public-private partnership.
The five-year contract includes the option for Beeville to continue the partnership with additional five-year extensions. This is Severn Trent's third new contract operations partnership in Texas in the past two months.
"The city is looking forward to the partnership with Severn Trent and believes the partnership will provide better operations and services to Beeville's citizens," said Beeville City Manager Jack Hamlett.
The Beeville system includes the water treatment facilities with a total treatment capacity of 7 million gallons per day. The system serves a population of approximately 13,000.
