GLEN HEAD, N.Y., Jan. 2, 2001 (PRNewswire) — The PureSafe Water Station has been selected to provide its PureSafe Water Station as the drinking water source for the Masapa Beach Resort in Nicaragua, the company reported today.
WaterChef engineering personnel will assist in water and site analysis to determine optimum system configuration by end of January. The system — including the first year's supply of replacement parts, spares and filter cartridges — is expected to be ready for delivery ten weeks thereafter.
The PureSafe Water Station is the company's patented water purification system for emerging economies. Capable of providing 5,000 to 10,000 gallons of U.S. EPA grade drinking water daily, from any water source, for as little as 1.5 cents per gallon, the system comes complete with its own self-contained generator for backup power, a custom housing, water dispensers and bottle washers.
