American Water Works completes sale of water system to town of Salisbury, MA

VOORHEES, NJ, October 5, 2001 — American Water Works Co. announced that it had completed the sale of its Salisbury Water Supply Company to the Town of Salisbury, Massachusetts for $11.5 million plus outstanding account receivables.
