Drinking Water Research Foundation golf fundraiser open for registrants
ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 5, 2006 -- The Drinking Water Research Foundation (DWRF) today announced that registration for the DWRF 2006 Golf Tournament is available on its website at www.dwrf.info. The tournament will be held at the Painted Desert Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 3, 2006, with a 12:30 pm shotgun start.
The tournament, held in conjunction with the 2006 IBWA Convention and Trade Show, will raise funds for drinking and bottled water research conducted by DWRF. The entry fee includes round-trip bus transportation from the Mandalay Bay Resort, greens fees, carts, lunch, après golf reception, and prizes.
To register for the tournament, visit the DWRF website and click on "Register" to download the registration form. The deadline is Sept. 8, 2006.
DWRF is an independent not-for-profit 501(C)3 foundation that was founded in 1984 to sponsor peer-reviewed scientific research that addresses the production of safe and affordable drinking water, including bottled water. Research verifies, identifies, and often solves current and potential problems that confront our world's drinking water supplies. The growth and development of the drinking water industry are important and research will aid in this growth.
